persian himalayan mix kitten - flat face?
I am deciding whether or not to purchase a persian himalayan mix kitten. The kitty does not look like it has the flat face but I was wondering if that can change? I really prefer the doll face. The kitty is pure white like the mother and grandmother. Also when a cat such as a persian has not been bred with a regular cat does that cause more health problems? And final question, the kitty is 5 weeks old has not had shots or dewormed, vet check and the price is $550. Any help would be appreciated!
What happened to my cat? (died this morning very suddenly)
Hello, I'm actually asking for my daughter. Her seinor cat died this morning very suddenly. She said he woke her up about 9:00 am meowing (yallowing) and she found him lying in his own pee. She immediatlly to him to the nearest vet about 15 minutes away from our house. He crawled into her lap on the drive there and died. The vet said they couldn't find anything wrong with him, they did not do an autopsy. He was about 11 years old. She's just heart broken. Any thoughts would help us. Thank you.
So my cat "Red" had 3 kittens. She had 2 boys and 1 girl, and today the girl kept meowing and i was wondering what was wrong, then she couldn't walk she would just flop on the floor. So i put a rag under her and was putting some water into her mouth. About 3 to 5 minutes later she was screaming for about 30 seconds. Then right there in front of me, she just died. What happen to her, heart attack, seizure?
Electronic Cat Feeder Guide
Hello all!I'm Sarah 27 years old and....I love cats.I have been using several different electronic feeders over the years now. Good and bad ones. Throughout the years I found friends and family noticing the feeder in my apartment and asking what they are looking at. Once I explain what it is, and how it helps me and my cats in everyday life they are always interested in trying them out themselves.Since the prices and functionality vary a lot between the different devices I would be a shame to settle for the wrong feeder for your and your cats specific needs.Hence I wrote and compared the electronic feeders I personally used in a guide on my blog lovelylittlebeasts.comI am asking to get your opinion and feedback on my guide. What can I improve to make the guide more understandable to interested pet owners. What piece of information is missing, that you would be interested to know? Thanks a lotI really appreciate any feedback!

Kitten Sudden Death
My boyfriend and I adopted a 4 week old kitten from our local animal shelter. We asked where the mother was and what happened to these poor kittens. Apparently animal control picked them up from kids who had a lemonade stand and had a box full of kittens that they were giving away for free. We decided to take one home. She was full of energy and loved to cuddle. On Wensday morning I played with her, she cuddled with my and purred while I drank my coffee and she ate her food. I went to work and my boyfriend came home from work, he sent me a video of our kitty. She was playing with him and ate her dinner. My boyfriend later sent me a video of her in her little cat house and she was shaking a little, he thought she was just having a dream, but after she didn't stop he noticed blood coming out of her mouth from her biting her tounge and she was pooping and urniating herself. He called me in a frantic. He picked her up and took her to the sink to wash her off but she wasn't moving. He noticed she wasn't breathing and he tried mouth to mouth and some cpr but it didn't work. He called the animal hospital but they said it'd be too late by the time we got there. I'm still in shock and heart broken over this. It was so unexpected and I have no idea what happened. She didn't show any signs or had any change in behavior. I cried myself to sleep for the next two days. We only had her for a week but she stole my heart. If anyone has had similar situations with their young kitten please let me know if you know what could've happened my kitty, Mileena.
My kitty died today don't know why
Cat passed last night. We had our cat for 13 years. Except the family had to watch her pass right in front of us. She suddenly seemed like she could not breathe, but she wasn't choking on anything and had her mouth open. It happened so fast we didn't know whether to try to help her by blowing air into her lungs or not because of her eye and nose related symptoms. It was late at night, her legs went straight then limp, and we feel guilty because we feel like we could have helped her if we acted sooner or tried CPR. In hindsight I'm guessing it was a heart or blood clot related death, and there was nothing that could actually be done. Her airway was definitely not obstructed, her mouth was open during the event, and she almost immediately voided and went completely still -body and eyes. People have said that most at home CPR does not have a good turn out rate, but we feel absolutely terrible for at least not trying. It was an emotional moment. Very tragic to witness. We loved her. I went through middle school, high school, and college with that cat. But it was her time, and her age and symptoms had caught up with her during a completely peaceful night. She was part of the family. My best friend sometimes. So we buried her in the backyard on the same night after she passed. Rigor mortis set in within the first hour and she was cold and completely rigid by the end of two hours. Feeling her become cold was tough, like we could have done more in the moment. But this is what happens in life sometimes. We cried all night. It seemed like such a harsh way of passing. And it happened so suddenly and quickly. Now, all we can do is meet again on Rainbow Bridge, make her a great memorial in the backyard, and visit and breathe outdoors whenever things get depressing indoors. It's important to learn what to do in these situations, and to find acceptance and forgiveness for what has already happened. The sad reality is that humans out-live cats, and to show as much love as you can during their life and be better educated on what to do during a crisis, or a lifetime. Thank-you for all your support and stories. I hope this helped somebody. We will miss our cat very much...
My beloved, beautiful, full of personality, more like a dog ginger kitty died suddenly last night. The vet thinks he had heart disease. His lungs were full of fluid and his heart was enlarged. I've been crying most of the night and just can't believe he is gone. He was so sweet and happy and precocious. My house will never be the same but what a true honor to have known, loved and adored him. Rest In Peace Flash
