Senior Kitty Ninja Skills
so my little Cuddles is 17yrs and has the amazing ability to pee under the littler box without moving. she dose have chronic kidney problems (my poor fur baby) and she is on a spical diet for that, but my question is how the hell is she doing this and dose anyone else have this problem. The littler box is scooped clean and she still dose this, and its not the floor. Its not all the time maybe like once twice a mouth but the smell it potent.
Russian blue/simease mix
My beautiful cat has the habit of pulling her under fur out. I have noticed this at night when I am asleep or if I do not have time to giver attention right when she wants it. What can I do?
ABOUT TO LOSE IT - HELP!!!!
So, my husband and I got a new kitten about a month ago. He's around 3 months old and such a wonderful little guy, except on thing.... HE PEES IN OUR BED. He's done this almost every night since we got him. It's only at night though, and only in the bed. He is alone all day and never has any accidents.
We took him to the vet when we first got him, and he got a clean bill of health, so I don't believe he's sick. He knows how to use the litterbox, and he can get on and off our bed easily.
Locking him out of the room is not an option, as we have a small apartment, and I'd rather him pee on my sheets that I can wash than my new couch.
We've tried sprays, taking away wet food at night, waking up to put him in the litterbox.. EVERYTHING.
We thought it might be because he was so comfy in bed he didn't want to get up in the middle of the night to use the box, BUT last night he got up, jumped off the bed to eat/drink, climbed back on the bed AND PEED.
I love my little kitten, but this is becoming very frustrating. We're also going away next week and I don't want him peeing at my mom's house... does anyone have any suggestions???
Please Help Save Harlem
Harlem nearly died from a vets incompetance....please "skip a Starbucks and save a cat". He is only 4 years old and has excellent chance of longterm survival if he can get the continued treatment he needs.
Cat trying to trip me!
My cat Tinkerbell was a stray that I adopted at about 8 weeks old. She is very sweet, affectionate & loving most of the time. She does have about an hour in the evening when she goes crazy & gets into everything though!
Male Neutering & Fighting Back
Last fall I had a a 5 year old male outdoor cat neutered. We had this cat from the time he was 6 weeks old. About a month ago a large black male cat that has periodically appeared on our property came back. In the past the male I had neutered would fiercely fight this other cat and drive him away. This time, he just continued to get the crap beat out of him by the black cat. My neutered cat disappeared about a week ago and we assume he is dead. My husband blames me for this. He says that if I had not neutered him he would have been able to fight back and that by neutering him he had no ability to fight back. The same thing happened about 15 years ago. We had an outdoor male. I had him neutered and within a month he was gone and assumed dead. The vets all say that neutering a male cat lengthens their life. I am feeling really bad about this. Is my husband right?
What is the breed if this cat?
Can someone tell me what breed is this cat?
Stroke what now
Sassy,my 15 year old indoor fur baby just jumped on back of chair to relax, within minutes her back end began to slide off ..no control, picked her up to comfort her, she got up and went under bed, next morn she seemed just fine that afternoon I noticed she wobbled when walking, would lose balance (stumble), vet gave her shot to help brain swelling, she seems fine, but stumbles. Blood flow in back leg very weak....We go back Friday ..what to expect?
