my yorkie pup is 5mos and is full of playfulness. we do walk and play. he barks, jumps on me, biting....nipping at my heels, pulling at my pant legs. my house looks like a 2yr old lives here. he has a lot of toys and plays with all of them. He will not come to when he is commanded  he is a very needy pup. he is coming close to the age to be fixed...will this help in his behavior?
I am thinking about a trainer, what is you opinion? I am open to suggestions.

Hi,  I just purchased a shih tzu maltese mix.  Her nose is gun metal, eyes are light grey and she has shed much of her newborn coat (she is 11 weeks old).  She looks like she has bald spots, but hair is growing back.  Her hair appears black until she is in sun and it looks more dark grey.  The new hair is lighter.  Will her hair grow in good?  She is perfectly healthy and seems to be very smart.  She is affectionate and playful.  Should I be concerned?  I was told she couldn't be a blue because she is mixed, but everything points to otherwise.

Not sure if my dog ate something strange or if he is sick or if something more serious.  I always base decision on vet similar to if I would go see a doctor for myself.  For example, he is responding to me, responding to food, and is getting better... or at least i thought.  I decided to feed him dinner because he had not thrown up for a fe hours.  After feeding him dinner, four hours later he puked the food, and then about 20mins a large amount of liquid puke without any food.  He is now laying in bed and seems "off", I would say sad and I think other owners can relate.  Anyway, I am going to hold off on breakfast and just hope its not a long night of scrubbing carpets.

Is there any way we can offer he a better quality of life?  She is wonderful and very loving. She gets along well with our other hearing dogs.

My dog (10 year old Husky Collie mix) has just been diagnosed with a pancreatic cyst.  For about 2 months he has been groaning (especially at night) and the discomfort led to an ultrasound and the discovery of a 2cm cyst in his pancreas.  I am not sure if anyone else has had this condition and I would love to avoid surgery.  The ultrasound was enough sticker shock.  Help anyone? Thanks

Has anyone experienced Chronic Active Hepatitis with they're dog?  Ours was diagnosed in July, seemed to get better and then 2 weeks ago he relapsed.  This time all of his numbers have sky rocketed.  Due to blood issues he's not a candidate for a liver biopsy.  So at this point he's being treated with prednisone, and an antibiotic.  He's lost approximately 40lbs in this short time.  What is a prognosis with the disease so advanced?
